Erin is known for her critical sense of purpose, overarching direction to serve others, and strong dedication to advancing social justice. Through her enthusiasm and empathy, she inspires friends, colleagues, and communities to discover their passions and live a life of fulfillment. As the Founder of ABC-Diversity, a subsidiary of CARE Equity, Erin creates opportunities for our future generations to develop the knowledge, understanding, and compassion necessary to address social inequities. ABC-Diversity is an inclusive publishing company committed to creating books that inspire diverse children to dream big by illustrating characters that demonstrate a value and appreciation for differences and ultimately removing limiting beliefs.
Erin is also the Program Coordinator for the Tobacco Treatment Program. A Denver native and graduate of the University of Colorado Denver with a degree in Earth Science, she is considering graduate school options. She has six years of experience working on cancer research at the University of Colorado Cancer Center. Past projects include the SELECT trial, which investigated the role of selenium and Vitamin E in prostate cancer prevention, and the SPORE Lung Cancer Tissue Bank. In her free time, she enjoys travel, cooking, dancing and kayaking.
